【摘要】:1ApplicationThisstandardspecifiesthesafetyrequirementsforsuspendedaccessequipment(SAE).Itisapplicabletobothpermanentandtemporaryequipmentwhichmaybepoweredorhandoperatedandwhicharedefinedinclause3.2HazardsThisEuropeanStandarddealswithsignificanthazardspertinenttoSAE,whentheyareusedasintendedandundertheconditionsforeseenbythemanufacturer(seeclause4).ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesappropriatetechnicalmeasurestoeliminateorreducerisksarisingfromthesignificanthazards.3ExclusionsThefollowingarenotcovered:a)operationinsevereconditions(e.g.extremeenvironmentalconditions,corrosiveenvironment,strongmagneticfields,etc.);b)operationsubjecttospecialrules(e.g.potentiallyexplosiveatmospheres,workonlivelines);c)transportationofpassengersfromoneleveltoanother;d)handlingofloads,thenatureofwhichcouldleadtodangeroussituations(e.g.moltenmetal,acids/bases,radioactivematerials,brittleloads);e)hazardsoccurringwhenhandlingsuspendedloadsinconjunctionwiththesuspendedplatform;f)hazardsoccurringwhenusedonpublicroads,overwater,orwhereveritisnotpossibletolowertheplatformtoasafeposition;g)hazardsarisingfromwindpressureactingonloadshavingasurfaceareainexcessof2m;h)SAEusingcablelesscontrolsystems.ThefollowingapplicationsforSAEareexcludedfromthisstandard:—accesstoworkingareaswithaninclineinexcessof45°comparedtothevertical;—workingplatformssuspendedbycranes;—siloaccessequipment;—accessequipmentusingfibreropesorchainsforthesuspensionoftheplatform;—SAEintendedtobeusedunderground;—SAEpoweredbycombustionengines;—SAEintendedtobeusedinshafts.
