【摘要】:Theoverallthicknessorcaliperofresilientflooringisabasicphysicalproperty.However,conventionalmeansofmeasuringthethickness,suchasahandmicrometerorregulardialmicrometer,arenotapplicableforfoam-layerproductsduetotheerrorfromcompressingthefoam.Thistestmethodminimizesthistypeofmeasuringerrorandstillretainstheconvenienceandspeedofmeasurement.Measurementoftheproductthicknessmayberequiredforqualitycontrolpurposesortoensurecompliancewithapplicablespecifications.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthethicknessofresilientnon-textilefloorcoveringscontainingafoamlayeraspartoftheconstruction.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
