【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresfortestingthejointsofinstalledprecastconcretepipesewerlines,whenusingeitherairorwaterunderlowpressuretodemonstratetheintegrityofthejointandtheconstructionprocedures.Thispracticeisusedfortesting675-mmandlargerdiameterprecastconcretesewerlinesutilizingrubbergasketsealedjoints.1.2ThispracticeisthemetriccompanionofPracticeC1103.Note18212;Theownershallspecifythefollowing:whowillconduct,observe,andfurnishlabor,material,andmeasuringdevicesandpayforthetests;whoisresponsiblefordetermininglocalgroundconditions;andwhetheranairorwatertestistobeused.Note28212;Theuserofthispracticeisadvisedthattestcriteriapresentedinthispracticearesimilartothoseingeneraluse.Pipe600-mmdiameterandsmallershallbeacceptedbyinfiltrationorexfiltrationtestingutilizingPracticeC969MorbylowpressureairtestingutilizingPracticeC924M.Pipegreaterthan600-mmdiametershallbeacceptedbyinfiltrationorexfiltrationtestingutilizingC969M.Note38212;Theuserisadvisedthatnocorrelationhasbeenfoundbetweenairlossandwaterleakage.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificsafetyprecautionsaregiveninSection6.
